Co-Creating the Future of Energy

This year’s annual conference of the Competence Center for Research in Energy, Society and Transition (SCCER CREST), hosted by the University of St.Gallen on September 12, 2017, will address the topic of “Co-Creating the Future of Energy”. How can the energy transition benefit from trends like decentralization and digitization? What is the role of incumbents versus new entrants, federal policymakers versus municipalities, producers, consumer and prosumers? And what are the conclusions for successful implementation of the Energy Strategy 2050? Members of Switzerland’s leading social science energy research center as well as keynote speakers and participants from industry and academia will discuss the latest insights. Innovative new projects by young researchers will be presented in lively science slams. As always, the conference also provides an excellent platform for networking and knowledge exchange,
